Anderson, SC – Tabitha Roberts, Brandon Davis, and Wesley Malmister each pled guilty on April 25, 2017 to two counts of Voluntary Manslaughter and one count of Attempted Armed Robbery for an incident that took place in January of 2016. Justin Ray Williams, the intended victim of the armed robbery, and Casey Waddell, one of the participants in the crime, were both killed during the robbery attempt. Judge Donald Hocker accepted the guilty pleas and deferred sentencing on all charges against these defendants. Charges are still pending against Randy Simpson. The State was represented by special prosecutor Lucas Marchant.
