(ANDERSON, SC). Joshua David Toney was found guilty Tuesday afternoon by an Oconee County jury of Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft of a Controlled Substance. The Honorable Robin Stillwell sentenced Toney to 18 months in prison.
On May 26, 2011, Oconee County deputies responded to an alarm at the Drive-Thru Pharmacy located on Wells Highway in Seneca. Upon arrival the deputies found the back window broken. A quantity of hydrocodone was also missing from the location. The owner came to the scene and the security footage was reviewed. The defendant was identified from still photos taken from the security footage. Toney was arrested after being identified from the photos.
