15 YEAR SENTENCE FOR DRUG TRAFFICKER IN OCONEE COUNTY

Johnny David Walker, 28, of Walhalla pled guilty Monday, February 26, 2007 to distribution of crack cocaine second offense and trafficking crack cocaine 28-100 grams 2ND offense. Circuit Court Judge James Williams sentenced Walker to 7 years in prison on the distribution charge and 8 years in prison on the trafficking charge. The sentences are to be served consecutively for a total of a fifteen year sentence.

These cases are the result of an undercover narcotics investigation conducted by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office over a period of several months during 2006.
